Do People That Are Outraged Over Obama Speech To Students Know What Has Been Going On In Classrooms For Years?
September 7th, 2009Students in class rooms have been watching streams of presidential speeches for a long time. Including President Obama’s.
Yes they have. I was even told there was no Santa at school. I still believed. We had sex ed, driver’s ed films. Sometimes we watched Meet the Press and listened to MLKing speeches. We even watched Jerry Lewis films.
That may be true, but in all those Presidential speeches I watched, not ONE TIME was I forced to take part in a “guided discussion.”
Do you realize that the US Department of Education sent out “DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS” on how to “GLORIFY THE PRESIDENT,” AND “DRIVE SOCIAL CHANGE.”
My kids WILL NOT be part of that. Had he kept it simple, made his speech (like the other Presidents did) and left it at that, I would have NO problem with it…But, as one mom put it, “I sent my children to school to be educated NOT indoctrinated.” — justamom
you obamabots sure do LOVE your black obama, and will even do anything to give this guy excuses for his every action.
obama is the first to use INTERNET streaming to DIRECTLY address children in the classroom. just admit you LOVE obama and will do anything for him!
oh and why is obama requiring that MOST public schools listen to him?
While I was in high school, I was forced to watch Ronald Reagan take the oath of office. That got me so mad! He was against everything I believed in. I still to this day have not forgiven my teacher for doing that to me. You are so correct, ever since TV was available in schools, kids watched the presidents at school. Nothing new at all.
The public is waking up to all the liberal practices at schools. It seems Obama’s done the country a favour by waking it from its complacency.
They forget their “great one” Reagan did the same thing.
In 1988 Reagan spoke to school children regarding pushing for tax cuts.
This is nothing new. Just another attempt by the loons on the right to try to make Obama seen as not one of us.

The GOP will try to make a issue out of anything Obama does.

So why was it not an issue when when Bush and Reagan did the exact same thing? I don’t get it…
