Is Barack Hussein Obama A Good Role Model When He Says Stay In School?
September 13th, 2009Especially when Barack Hussein Obama is an admitted drug user during his teen years? Is that what your child needs, another speech from a hypocritical drug abuser?
He is pushing health care reform which will reward irresponsibility, and at the same time talking to children about responsibility. Someone bent on destroying our once-great country should not be allowed near anyone’s children.
When Bush spoke to students he was investigated by Democrats.
Oh. My. God.
Get off it, people.
The only fear came from whether or not Obama would sprout lies about what he was doing or push health care and other things on children that parents feared. Honestly, he gave a calm speak, it was inspirational and it was fine.
However, I support any parents who pulled their kids out of school. I wouldn’t (if I had children) and I would have been annoyed at my parents if they had pulled me out of school. I would have attended, observed and then discussed it with my parents. You cannot shield your children from everything.
Oh, so he has done drugs, a lot of people have done drugs. Because of that it doesn’t mean that everything he says is bad.
That being said, of course, his current administration is effing hideous and the man shouldn’t be in office any longer than three more days.
Just as when Bristol Palin told kids not to make the mistakes that she had, the president wants kids to avoid the bad choices he made as a teen. Former drunks counsel others trying to stop drinking. These people aren’t hypocrites, the real hypocrites are people who continue their bad behavior in secret and bad-mouth others whose indiscretions may have been made public. (Think Rush Limbaugh, Larry Craig, Newt Gingrich, et al)
At some point most kids try drugs.
Many are experimental and they grow out of it.
Obama does not do drugs and never told the kids to do drugs.
Obama may have tried them and grew up unlike Rush Limbaugh who just went on to bigger and better drugs and yet conservatives listen to him.
You had no problem with the last president giving a speech to your children–an admitted drug user and alcoholic.
Not surprisingly, Bush barely made it through his daddy’s alma mater, while Obama worked his butt off and graduated with honors on his own merit, not daddy’s legacy.
He did admit he tried drugs, but we just had a president who was a drug user and an alcholic and I think still is, so I guess we cant get the perfect person. I think everyone has experimented with drugs in their younger years, of course I haven’t but most have.
But he did stay in school and excelled. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
Remember that George W Bush is a recovering alcoholic and was a coke user.
Obama has just been more honest than most about his past actions.
What? Oh I get it, this is the next propaganda item. If this doesn’t catch on what will you grab from the bottom of the barrel? It’s getting empty.
What’s ironic is that many of you conservatives listen to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh (both admitted drug abusers).
criminals that give speeches in schools tell kids to stay in school and not do drugs or join gangs……would anyone consider them good role models?
