Is The Afghanistan War Struggling Because Obama Supporterss Have Not Stepped Up To Enlist?

October 19th, 2009

The call is for another 40,000 troops. Is it time they started carrying the load?
During the campaign they told us Iraq was not necessary and that Afghanistan was the country the terrorist used to attack us. Now 10 months into Obamination military recruiters in Blue Obama states are like the Maytag repairmen.

Not so far I read a good site with post $1500 loan quick. I found it very interesting and I added it to favorites

  1. Let’s do the math. U.S. citizen who is a democrat, they normally expect their country to take care of them and not the other way around?
Why would they enlist, they can stay home all day, do nothing, and live and eat for free because of the government. What motivation is there to work. Soon all of their medical bills will be paid for too. No incentive.

  2. When we were struggling in Iraq, they said we should be fighting the real war on terror in Afghanistan. —Now that we’re in Afghanistan, they will soon be saying that we should be in Pakistan. —If we go to fight in Pakistan, I’m sure they will call for us to go fight the real war on terror in Honolulu, Hawaii, or Toledo Ohio.

  3. i wish i could… i was too old to re-enlist by the time 9-11 happened, or i would have then. please note i said “re-enlist.”
iraq was the distraction; you can’t blame that on obama. and while i’m on about it, why do you disregard the increases in troop levels the president has already ordered?
obama made it abundantly clear during his campaign that he supported the invasion of and war in afghanistan. his record reflects this and his supporters voted for him not only knowing it but also BECAUSE of it.
even if he were to reinstate conscription, he would still have our support as long as it’s to keep his word regarding afghanistan. we would have supported it for bush if he hadn’t gone off adventuring in that other sandbox for purely personal reasons.
however, the nature of the warfare in afghanistan requires the services of truly elite soldiers, marines, and sailors in the form of special forces, airborne rangers, force recons, and SEALs.
those folks have to be volunteers due to the nature of their training. you can’t force them, they have to want it. individuals who are drawn to those branches are enlisting because we’re at war, not in spite of it.
they would do so no matter who currently occupies the oval office, and THANK GOD for them and that they’re on our side.

    Why “share the load” ??
Are not “Community Organizers” — about telling OTHERS what to do; and what “load” to be burdened with??
It’s a “sweet belief system” — Liberalism is — where One can sit in one’s EZ-Chair and espouse, what is wrong with the world and “who else’s” Fault it is :) ) lol
Other Liberals that I know of, who served in the Military (and I DO salute them) — became True Liberals, AFTER they left the Military.
The last one I can think of who actually joined the Marines — AS a Liberal (and Anti-American) — was Lee Harvey Oswald.
“A Liberal is Complaint Waiting to Happen”
…and from the movie, “Love Story” –
“Being a Liberal, is Never Having to Say — I’m Responsible”

  5. The Iraq misadventure took the troops into another endless and pointless battle away from the ongoing war in Conflictastan.
I never supported the Afghan war because it was never about national interest, just payback and empire.

  6. Thank God we have plenty of others who are willing to step up to the plate. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/l…

  7. It won’t be a problem, its always been the Democrats that have been for reinstating the draft, they’ll fix the shortage of troops.

  8. The war in Afghanistan is struggling because it is, and always has been unwinnable

  9. I know of one searching the skies over Yuma for a flying saucer balloon.

  10. Do you mean in the same way that Bush chicken hawks ran away from Iraq by the thousands?

  11. I tried but chronic bed wetting is a disqualifier.

  12. Recruiters are meeting their quotas, so no.

  13. His supporters are afraid of guns.

  14. Jesus is a Socialist

So now all the black kids that are in the military are republicans?
You people always say all black people are racist Obama supporters.
    Which is it?
