I have a question to the question instead of an answer! What about those who are allergic to the flu shot, and eggs like myself. If Obama makes it madatory then what are we to do? Yes this is a free country but our rights are being striped away moment by moment. I have so many allergies I practically live off of Benedryl everyday and now the talk is that our stupid president wants to make something that could kill me mandatory? I would rather go through the flu and pray it is not anything but the regular strain than die from getting a shot that I know possibly might kill me!!!!!!!

I haven’t heard that he is making it mandatory..I seriously doubt that..I think the key with stopping the spread of the flu is people need to stay home when they are sick…too many people go out after they have had the flu and feel better (but are still contagious) and spread the flu..They should follow the CDC recommendations and stay at home for 7 days..if they have to go out then they should wear a mask.
Not all folks can get a flu shot. Some neurological deficits can become much worse if a flu shot is taken. Alzheimer’s Disease for one. So, nobody will be forced to take a shot against their will especially if it can cause more health problems.

The only mandatory flu shots thus far were ordered by the government of the state of New York for health care workers.
