The republicans could have done better had Clinton not screwed around and been on top of the country instead of Monica!
Had he done something about the FIRST twin tower attack and took out Bin Laden when he could have TWICE…we would not have had the twin tower attack TWO and then go into war.
ALSO had Clinton and dems not forced banks to give credit when it wasn’t warranted..and BOZO had not filed lawsuits on behalf of ACORN to whiny welfare people to allow foodstamps as income……raided medicare and medicaid…signed onto NAFTA…we would have been in a MUCH better position than we are NOW.
Funny how when greed and AGENDAS and robbing Peter to pay Paul comes back to bite you in the butt.

The Repeal of the Glass Steagall Act during the Clinton administration led to all the fiascos that led to this recession. Both parties voted for it. The republicans wanted it for more risk taking and the democrats wanted it for getting housing for the poor and minorities. It just took that long before the price of housing went too high and there were no more sub prime mortgages to sell. No more capital to loan. The insured toxic swaps broke AIG which didn’t have enough to cover the claims. It may have happened on Bush’s watch but he had nothing to do with it. He warned Congress they better do something about it but they ignored him saying “everything was fine”.
So if we could turn back the clock…..and Clinton had been busy doing what was RIGHT for the country..and BOZO had kept his nose out of things….we wouldn’t be dreaming of a better world..we would be LIVING IN IT

Your post is asinine as always You claim to be an American living in the U K The real motive in your post as always is too relish in the problems the U S is facing But if you live in the U K you know the problems there You know they have slipped to 7 th place behind Italy and France and no Americans know of it and if they did they would not be jumping for joy over it But than we are Americans and you are not

Do you really want to revive the economy? Then lower all income tax rates, reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes, eliminate destructive regulations (such as forcing banks to make loans to people who can’t repay them), and quit denigrating profit. These policies have worked every time they have been tried.

I’m up for electing a PAGAN, maybe not a witch doctor, but hey, pagans are cool!
They don’t have the same hangups that democrats and republicans do….oh wait. Democrats and republicans aren’t Christian associations…..
wait, they are.
Eh, same thing.
If we stopped worrying about what religion our politcians were, maybe we’d have a bit more equality between dems and repubs. And then they can focus on issues, instead of “what would christians want”, maybe focusing on “what the people want”. All the people.
