Is Obama’s Strategic Interest In Afghanistan Genuine, Or, The Result Of His Presidential Campaign?
November 30th, 2009Like any form of marketing, the goal is to differentiate yourself from the competition.
Running for office is quite similar in its application.
Obama stressed during the campaign that Afghanistan was the REAL problem, and, Iraq an unfortunate distraction. It differentiated himself from the Bush administration and to his followers, made him wiser.
Problem is, here we are, with Afghanistan a cold reality for Obama, and America, to deal with. Is Obama’s interest in Afghanistan political, or, as commander in chief, a genuine problem for the defense of America?
I

Aside from Marxism, I see no deeply held, genuine beliefs in anything. People who suffer from narcissistic personality disorder do not have a lot of convictions.
