I think it will be much sooner, only we may not realize the full impact until then.
He’s setting everything up so that it all will go into effect AFTER that. There is a reason for this. He’s either looking to dump it on whomever follows him or be in a position where it won’t matter if he succeeds or not as he can’t run again should he win 2012. The man is a habitual liar. Clinton’s last budget saw a surplus for 2000. However since then with the neocons tax relief for the rich and 2 wars, you saw the national debt balloon. And take the repeal of the Glass–Steagall act.signed by Clinton after it became Veto proof by the votes in the House and the Senate. Phil Gramm who sponsored that vote and other market deregulation bills is seen as one of the most responsible for the current economic meltdown, after Alan Greenspan. You’ve got China now who owns a Trillion dollars in US debt, and Japan with another in it’s pocket. All before Obama took office.
It’s often said that every time a republican administration takes office it’s spends it’s way into debt and then it takes a democrat administration to balance the books. It took Clinton 8 years, but if Obama can do it it 8 years I’d be amazed–I honestly don’t think anyone can balance the US budget for many years if ever again, not after the US printed so much money last fall. Regardless when the next republican administration gets in they’ll increase deficit spending… God help the US if the world decides to sell oil in a currency other then the US Dollar. Currently that allows the US to mask it’s borrowing by allowing it’s currency to be used as medium for exchange. If that stops the dollar will tank and the US no matter who’s running the government will be done for.
So, ask yourself how does printing money stop a fanancial crisis as it apparently did this last year. Well it didn’t it just held it off for a while and will eventually make it worse.
Your only chance to save America is to vote out all Neocons and dems and vote in some real Republicans or libertarians like Ron Paul a person who’s actually trained in economics.
Otherwise watch the US slip away into a third world oligarchy like existence.
