  1. It’s not supposed to be. But is it? Yes. It’s an unspoken pre-requisite. For getting ELECTED.
Should it be? No. I don’t want any church anywhere near the White House. Supposedly there is a little something called a separation of church and state. There are lots of reasons for that.

  2. At this point in time, one must at least CLAIM he or she is a Christian to have any real hope of being elected president of this country. Like it or not, the fact remains that America IS a predominately Christian nation.

Not necessarily, though Christian (real ones that is) usually have a higher sense of morals etc. than the average joe so I’m sure it would be a good thing (pres. being a Christian, not requiring the pres. to be one).

  4. Apparently not…..we just elected a Muslim junior senator who was a card carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America dating back to 1996.

  5. Is it a prerequisite – I don’t think so.
Should it be – who knows but it would’t hurt anything to have a president that has some core values

  6. No, it’s a prerequisite for being elected.

  7. In theory, no. In reality, yes.
No it shouldn’t be a requirement.

  8. General MacArthur

Obama’s not one. He might be in word, but not in deed. God bless.

  9. Sadly Yes.. America has always been a extreme Christian country

  10. Could be.
    But should it be. Maybe.

  11. Ditto, to thee…. Yes End of Story comment.

  12. It is, but it shouldn’t be. That may change some day, hopefully.

  13. Flags of Our Fathers
