Who All Agrees That Barack Obama Is Not African-american?

He cant just be born in the USA and magically become African-Americans..Hes is really alien to me, only side I can relate to is his white mothers side.

AMERICAN – Mother from the U.S. + his being born here and by birth an AMERICAN.
African-American doesnt have to mean the blacks that are descendants from the slave trade, it can mean anyone who is a visible minoirty or can fall under the “black” categorization. Technically he is FROM African paternally and his mother is American, so I say he is genuinely African-American. So what his father’s family didn’t go through slavery? Does that make him less black? Or African American?
You are a fool to call your president an Alien. Just because his father is from the beautiul coutnry of Kenya, doesn’t mean he is “unrelatable”. That just comes off as ignorant and slighty racist. Who cares where he is from, why are you analysis sh**t so much? G0d D-mn!
Yes he is black and his father is who is black is from kenya but him him self is american because he was born her so techically, he is considered african american. If you want to be more specific he is biracial due for the fact that he is half black and half white but in most cases, people in the U.S. uses the one drop rule and him himself considered himself an African American.
He calls himself black and he is an American, so what is the problem? Watch carefully: If you are born in the USA and you are black or mixed, you are qualified to be called African American. Alien to you? I’m quite sure that makes the president sad and lonely. Another question: Why are you so obsessed with race?
I’m so sick of this debate. Any other time a public figure (politician, celebrity, etc.) is “only” half black, that’s plenty black enough. Why is it somehow different when that person is the president? I think people are just trying to take his achievement from him.

Most African Americans ancestors came from central west Africa. Obamas tribe did own slaves at one time. Some of his mothers family fought for the north during the Civl War but some also owned slaves.
