That is an interesting question. His associates alone would have kept him from getting a clearance and yet he now has access to almost every government secret.

i assume obama has an excellent security clearance. he has a guy with a button in a briefcase follow him around, so if he wants to create a little excitement he can press this button.

Politicians are exempt form security clearance. They just need to qualify to run and win the election. In the president’s case, it wouldn’t matter anyways, he has a pristine record.
