Has Obama Accomplished Anything In The Last Year ?

First of all, I think you’re great. I’m only 15, but I’ll give you my opinion anyways.
Honestly, I don’t think ANY of the presidents or any people that are elected into ANY form of governmental authority actually DO what they promise to DO.
I’m not republican, NOR democrat, nor green, brown, purple, whatever. Haha.
I think all people of politics are full of ****, because they NEVER make decisions for THE PEOPLE, THEY ONLY MAKE DECISIONS FOR THEIR POLITICAL PARTY. Personally, I think that our founding fathers would be ashamed.
And you know what else I think? I think that BOTH the republicans AND the democrats are driving this country towards destruction! The only difference is that the Republicans are coasting along and the Democrats have the gas pedal to the floor!
So my answer is NO. I don’t think that Obama has done anything, but remember, our government is based on 6 principles, one of which is CHECKS AND BALANCES, so Obama is only one part of MANY to blame for the state this country is in.
Look, this is going to be an honest opinion. I’m pretty open-minded and tend to avoid biases when it comes to politics. Yes, I’m liberal, but I do agree with some conservative perspectives as well.
I voted for Obama last year. I really wanted Clinton to win, but Obama seem qualified too. The first few months of his term were pretty great. I agreed with his crackdown on Guantanamo Bay. I respect he pushed for a bill that helped women financially and socially in the workplace. I love that he put a limit on the amount of bailout money a company could receive. Everything seemed great, and he really was taking his job seriously.
But, as the months went on, I noticed his drive was going down. I noticed he talked more instead of putting things into action. When there was crisis, I’d see him on vacation somewhere when he should have been in the White House. He’s had many opinions on the Health Care bill, but seems to put little effort into getting things into motion. He’s losing his grind, and if he wants to improve the situation he’s going to have to start acting just as he did when he was first elected.
I have no idea what this next year will bring, but if its anything like the last few months, then I’m not very hopeful. IF he gets back on top of everything he can achieve some wonderful things. He just has to try, but he hasn’t been doing that lately. I hope he takes his declining approval ratings into account.

Regardless of he did nothing last year, he won the Nobel Peace Prize by withdrawing a small amount of Iraq stationed troops and add more into the Afghanistan. He did something seemed good in the overall new health insurance for all American but did oppose by the Republicans. He gave public speeches world wide and earned applause in Germany. I can tell you what’s wrong of Obama in the followings.

3) He didn’t fulfill his his new bill of executive caps. As a Liberal, he should have amened the new laws of not allowing those Wall St. and investment bank executives to make as much bonus or compensation as they wanted. He should have pinpointed the real economic problem caused by the once Bill Clinton’s suggestion of Super Imperialism affected the US and the global economic downturn.http://www.informationclearinghouse.info…
I think Hong Kong seems even getting worsen than the US because of the lame duck chief executive, Donald Tsang Yum-kuen. A liar, a passing buck specialist, an catholic freak, and a callous man has no compassion to the aged and the poor.Many suggested he should have axed his own overpaid salary by at least HK $ 200k per month. In contrary, he raised his already too much overpaid salary by HK$ 90k more to HK$ 430k per month. He should have slashed at least 20,000 doing nothing civil servants. In contrary, he past the bill to hire 3,000 more and additional official assistants. Many economists and scholars have sought that all civil servants and public funded professionals must accept a drastical wages cut to compensate the huge deficit caused by overhired civil servants. He spent more than HK $25 millions for innovation his government house by building new fish ponds, all new furnitures, newly decorated walls and fancy rooms, lobbies and halls. Hong Kong government must start an overall cut back by chopping at least 23,000 jobs, chopping all overpaid salaries by at least 5% to as much as 60%. It is a public joke that many assumed if Donald Tsang really willing to cut HK $ 200k salary per month, he is still better pay than Barack Obama. He would rather to see Hong Kong Doomsday come upon in the next five years.
He has accomplished in angering more and more people. He’s accomplished buyers remorse from the people who have voted for him, like me. He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, he’s leading the country into the wrong direction.
Absolutely not, he has promised so much but has shown nothing but putting ex cons into high ranking positions. Also he promises everyone healthcare but what people dont understand is that he is going to charge us out the *** to get it.
Well, he’s been able to spend about a trillion less in one year than Bush spent in 8years. It’s an accomplishment, but not one I’d brag about.
It’s going to a long 3 years of ill advised initiatives.
He got Osama Bin Laden to release a video tape this year!!! and Osama even compared his name to Obama!!!!!
Most recently he has helped to elect many Repbulicans and killed health care “reform.” Thanks Obama!
He did get a dog, however it would of been classy to rescue one from a pound.
