Shouldn’t Obama Be Reaching Out To Republicans B/c He Wants To Instead Of He Has To Do So?
February 11th, 2010If he did so in a meaningful way PRIOR to the Scott Brown victory that would mean something. Now it just shows the impact of the seating of Brown has on the implosion of Obamacare.
I am very skeptical as to Obama’s ‘authenticity’ regarding his willingness to take Republicans ’seriously’!
I truly believe that Obama still feels that he doesn’t need the Republicans to pass his programs, and is only pretending to ‘reach out’!
My ‘gut’ tells me it is only another in his long line of ‘posturing’ speeches!
It’s too much like when the ’shady used car salesman says “trust me, would I ever steer you wrong?”
Sorry, I may have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night!
obama actually did a lot try to reach out to republicans, just not so much with healthcare. but with foreign policy, he’s pissing off a lot of democrats by withholding torture photos and escalating the war on terror in afghanastan.
i guess it’s understandable for republicans to ignore this, since all the focus is on healthcare right now, which is one of his more liberal agendas.
Since he was elected by the majority of voters, I think the people do want what he wants.
He’s been talking about bipartisanship since before he even started his campaign. He talked about it in his speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention. He talked about it during his campaign. He talked about it in his acceptance speech. He talked about it in his inaugural speech. He has ALWAYS wanted that.
No red states. No blue states. The United States.
So screw Republican talking points and lies.
It shows what a phonie and sham he is. Only worried about his agenda; screw what the people really want.
He doesn’t care that Americans are centrists and we don’t want his high tax and high deficit Leftist agenda. He wants to ram his tyranny through
Reaching out is not something that a person suffering from narcissistic personality disorder can do naturally.
Scott Brown admitted he wants Obama to release a healthcare reform.
He’s not reaching out to anyone. He’s lying like he always does and he cannot be trusted.
Exactly. He’s missed his opportunity.
he did but the GOP was belligerent and throwing out phony information
What you just said, “true”.
Yes, he should have. That said, better late than never.
