Obama is president for USA having him is just like having a white dem president

WHY do people compare him to Prestigious men such as Malcolm X or MLK, he isn’t like them
Because most white people consider Obama to be black and so they think Obama must be special to black people having defied such overwhelming odds to become America’s first black president.
For centuries white people have been assuming what black peoples needs are, what black peoples hopes are and right now they believe the hope of black people is in Obama. But Mr Obama certainly doesn’t consider himself the black peoples President. He clearly favours the white half of himself. He sent a wreath to the Confederate cemetery and in my opinion that’s equivalent to sending white sheets to the KKK.
Obama is the President of the United States of America,regardless of what other people want to call him.Blacks want to claim him,some whites want to claim him,he is the only who can label himself as white or black,or idk,an idea would be BI-RACIAL.
He isn’t Malcolm X or MLK,but he broke a barrier,and while i do think it is hypocritical to b-i-t-c-h about wanting to be treated equal,and then boast about having a black president,he overcame something that took hundreds of years,and 42 presidents.
He is president because he is intelligent,respectful,respeonsible,educ… and a great leader.Although many people voted for him because he is black,which is ignorant,he is better than the last dumba** we had
umm… we don’t. If we did he wouldn’t have been elected. Blacks are in the minority.
And he’s compared to him because he too is a big figure and is a step towards equality for African Americans.
And there were many men who died fighting for the confederacy that didn’t fight for slavery, there were many black people who died fighting for the Confederacy. They fought for their country, same as everyone else.

I voted for him.I am white,he was voted in by mostly whites,and like me, we didn’t vote by skin color,we voted for him because we believe he can do the job,and do it right. I don’t think he will get it all done in four years,so I will vote for him again!
