Would Sarah Palin Beat Obama If The Elections Were Held Today?

June 15th, 2009

I think Obama speaks to the common citizen and represents his interests well. On the other hand, Palin speaks directly to women and a lot of men and is capable of drawing more free media time and space than Obama. Both are good fund raisers and both come off as sincere and moral.

  1. I live in Alaska.
Palin has accomplished what we sent her to Juneau to do. She has been the most productive governor Alaska has had in decades.
Obamma – not many accomplishments – even if you look at the past 100 days.
    I would vote for Palin.

    No.
Palin is attractive to the Neo-conservative bunch only. Her views on abortion are not appealing to Liberals.
Moreover, Palin had baggage: Her special needs son, her daughters pregnancies, Trooper-gate, and don’t forget when she went wolf hunting. Also note when she gave a public speech while a turkey was being killed.
Simply put, I think that Palin would be popular in the deep South. This is where her base is. Obama would reign in the great Lakes Region, the West coast, New England and the new South (North Carolina, Virginia, and possibly Florida). President Obama would also be appealing in part of the mountain area.
I beg to differ with you; Obama draws more of a crowd than Sara Palin. And she does not appeal women voters due to her strict views on reproductive rights and other issues.

  3. She’s no more electable than she was before. She needs foreign policy experience.
Granted, Obama didn’t have any either, but he had the Liberal media and racial “destiny” on his side.
A Conservative has to be 100% on game to beat the media and win over the general public. Unfortunately, Palin is not one of them (not yet, anyway).
She needs to run for the Senate or receive a cabinet position from some one else who beats her to it.

  4. The more that times goes on since the nation and globes’ introduction to Palin during the last elections, the less I believe she’ll ever have a fighting chance of winning a significant political office again. There are too many hypocritical occurrences.
I still cannot believe *her* teenage daughter became a mother before graduating high school. Conservatives staunchly believe abstinence is the only solution for unwanted pregnancies and a rapidly increasing rate of STD infections in teens – all the while concurrently backing Palin-the-wunder-example-mom? They are missing the boat.
That situation ironically represents all that abstinence-preachers won’t acknowledge. How did that not get explored more thoroughly? Why is the American public so quick to say, “Whoa, that’s a big red flag. We’ll just sweep that under this rug and move on.”

  5. No she would’nt. She’s ’sincere and moral’ ? – are we talking about the same person.? The Palin I remember was ‘caught out in lies and misleading information’ (had to apologise) and had ‘too many skeletons in the cuboard’ and has got a ‘very suspect’ background. Oh – how the public have such short ‘memories’.
Out of who was presented to the public to get into the White House – Obama was the best choice.

  6. No.
Most women find her embarrassing. Most men with half a brain would like to see her naked, but otherwise think she’s an ex-pageant dingbat. Non-white Americans find her insulting and insincere. The media no longer takes her seriously.

  7. I don’t think so.
It was apparent during the campaign tours how much knowledge she lacked within the government infrastructure.
And then when it came to foreign policies, she stumbled.
That’s why it’s not smart to vote in someone with little government experience.

  8. I seriously doubt it. I don’t know if she has a chance in 2012, but frankly, I don’t see it. But if you asked in 2004 would a Senator from my neighboring state of Illinois be President in 2008 I probably would not have thought so.

  9. your wrong, Obama is still intelligent and Palin is still dumber than sh*t.

  10. Palin doesn’t talk about the issues that face America and offer her solutions. Without that she will not be President.

  11. † PRAY † - SFECU

    No she would not win.
Obama is destroying the country and the liberals love it. They don’t care what he does and how badly things go, they want to change everything even if it doesn’t work.

  12. I hope not. I am a woman and she does not speak to me at all. I don’t agree with much that she has to say or many of the things that she does in Alaska. I’m moving if she is ever President.

  13. In a teleprompter contest – yes

  14. Nope. Too many on the left haven’t been deprogrammed yet.

  15. chit mickey mouse could do a better job then obama

  16. Hell no way!

  17. I have no idea what will happen in 2012. but today? no can do. she has no chance. she will just be a laughing stock again.
