Using figures from the same polls, I can present a totally different view:
1) 75% want the health care system changed so all are covered for necessary care. (Pew Poll)
2) 61% want the system changed to limit annual cost increases. (Pew Poll)
3) 80% are dissatisfied with the total cost of health care. (ABC poll)
4) 54% are dissatisfied with the quality of health care. (ABC poll)
Bear in mind, that the ABC News/USA Today/Kaiser Family Foundation poll is nearly 3 years old, while the Pew poll was conducted in June, 2009. In similar findings this month, the New York Times/CBS poll found:
5) 72% favor a "government-administered health insurance plan something like Medicare to compete with private health insurance companies".
6) By over a 2-1 margin (59% to 26%), people believe the government will hold down costs better than private insurers.
At this point, I guess the question is whether we are going to have a rational discussion about health care or whether the opposition is going to raise "straw man" arguments like "socialized medicine".

60% of all bankruptcy due to Medical Costs. 10 Million Americans are uninsured and you think there is No Problem?
You don't see the connection between the economic crisis and the Health Care Industry?

It's all about money and power with the Dems. Plus you can throw in a desire to turn this country to socialism. Look up the definition of socialism, then look at what the Obama Administration has done with the banking and automotive industry. Next is health care and he will just about have total control over us.
