Are There Enough Doctor To Care For The All The Newly Insured If Obama’s Health Care Passes?
August 17th, 2009Realize that alot of these newly insured are people who live poor lifestyles. Lifestyle which lead to poor health and poor mental health. The cost of medical claims from these people will be $75K to 225K a year.
why do think they want to push this health plan???………… TO SPREAD THE WEALTH…. Don’t you think a witch doctor from mondo island (home of King Kong) deserves to get in on the universal health care system by our frivolous…. eh um… i meant… fearless leader??
There are. Realize that a lot of these people already go to the ER for medical care. They just do so on YOUR tax dollar and cannot see a primary care physician for routine medical care and preventative care. Why do you ASSume these people ‘live in poor lifestyles’?? Poor people are already covered under Medicaid. These are middle class families that aren’t eligible for Medicaid, but who have lost their jobs and/or cannot afford the high HMO premiums.
You would have to be very short sighted to think that the strain on the medical industry would not be increased if this thing passes. We are short of doctors and nurses that is a fact. Next they are going to have to retool the education system in this country.
You make it sound like everyone who is currently uninsured is in poor health. This is simply not true. Many of them just need general (not catastrophic) health care and medication.

It will be a disaster. Not only are there not enough, many more will leave because they wont be making any money being a doctor so the problem will become extreme. And there will be rationed healthcare as a result.
Dude, its not like they are all going to the doctor at the same time. What makes you think the uninsured “live poor lifestyles”? Many simply lack insurance because their job doesn’t offer it.
