  1. Dumber than you even remember

    .
I’d make a list, divided straight down the middle, with “What you do and don’t get now” on one side and “what you WILL get” on the other half.
The “what you will get” side contains:
    -NO pre-existing conditions exclusions
    -NO lifetime ‘caps’ on treatment
-NO loss of insurance for getting or staying sick
    -portability
-multiple companies, multiple plans, including a basic services / a la carte plans / OR, keep your present plan
    -FREE preventive medicine/wellness checkups
-emphasis on prevention now, reducing expensive ‘illness’ dollars.
-increased competition for that new 35-to-50 million MORE insureds should spur competition and efficiency, leading to lower costs, therefore lower premiums.
Then I’d say: you don’t have ANY of this now: how’s that status quo thing working our for ya?

  2. We’re gonna make grandma immortal!
I don’t trust insurance companies and I don’t trust government. The health care debate has been a tough one for me. I hope it doesn’t die!
    I like these ideas:
    1. A private nonprofit co-op
    2. A law banning insurance companies from excluding or dropping for preexisting conditions.
    3. Portability when you move between jobs
    4. Denial of claims reform. All research done before the first premium check is cashed. After that the insurance company should be on the hook
    5. Government regulation–a nonpartizan nonpolitical group to police the lecherous insurance industry

  3. my avatar pisses off the hippies

We need change in our health care. I bring the hope that we can have that change. I can change the status quo, and bring hope to the 67 trillion uninsured Americans that need a change. And by changing the status quo, I hope that that change will bring about the hope (and change) that America needs in order to change this health care crisis into something more hopeful for the 105 trillion Americans that are uninsured.
If that’s no good, maybe you could ask Obama’s teleprompter.

  4. isn’t the health care proposal just a pay for medicaid program?…….everyone knows that medicaid insurance gets you the worst medical care there is …and government wants to open up an option for millions to pay for their own personal coverage?……..shouldn’t government improve the health care insurance program they have now before screwing more americans

  5. How about playing Abba’s “Waterloo”. Face the facts, accept defeat and admit Sen DeMint was right.
Sen Jim DeMint : “”If we’re able to stop Obama on [health care reform], it will be his Waterloo. It will break him and we will show that we can, along with the American people, begin to push those freedom solutions that work in every area of our society.”

  6. Let him find his own sound bytes.
If the system is about to collapse as he would like everyone to believe, then he should be WAY ahead of the rest of us on this. He campaigned for 2+ years and he’s been in office 7 months.
He doesn’t need our help. He needs to get real.

  7. I know….I know…!!!
Socialism, it worked for Russia and China.
    Oops, no it didn’t….
    hmmmm…let me think…..
    Ok, I got it….
Socialized Medicine…..50% of Canadians die from what 90% of Americans live from….
Not looking good for your sound bite….

  8. Muleville Dot Com

The more they say about it the less I like it. They don’t even understand it. All they understand is the socialist agenda they are pushing for.

  9. “Not your grandmothers health care anymore!”

  10. Never Give Up Never Give In

the real problem is a majority of people don’t believe democrat
politicians and the talking points they spew!!!

  11. He’ll have to get permission from Citizen Palin first, and she’s busy right now. Try again later.

  12. That little girl at the New Hampshire town hall meeting (not even from New Hampshire).

  13. Liberalism is for Sucks

    The usual ‘It’s Bush’s fault’.
